The Farmhouse Bakery

Nadine is the owner of The Farmhouse Bakery. She is a self taught baker. She grew up experimenting with recipes and creating baked goods for her friends and family. When she wants to learn something new, she researches and works at it until she gets it right!

She describes baking as similar to the work of an artist or musician, ideas comes to mind and she begins to piece them together and try different ingredients until her vision becomes a reality.

 

Her desire to bake stems from her passion to create things from scratch, like the old days. Despite working in a commercial setting, ensuring everything is homemade is a top priority for her. This has not changed as she has expanded the business.

She has been married to her husband Jerry for over 30 years, and they have two sons and one daughter in law. When not baking, she enjoys embroidery and reading!
